Tansen Hospital — Their medical elective programme offers a 6‑week minimum placement. The United Mission Hospital Tansen (UMHT) is located in Tansen, the district headquarters and commercial centre of Palpa District. Tansen is a pleasant town built on the side of Shrinagar hill and lies in the middle hills of Nepal. The medical work of the hospital comprises various paramedical departments, laboratory, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dental, anaesthesia, outpatient department and pharmacy. There are the following wards—surgical ward, maternity ward, burns unit, orthopedic ward, paediatric ward, and three main operating wards

Green Pastures Hospital – Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara was opened in 1957 as a leprosy hospital. It has since broadened its scope and now supports people with all kinds of disabilities.

The hospital provides both in-patient and out-patient leprosy services, reconstructive surgery, nursing care, laboratory services, counselling, and health education. It also offers rehabilitation services—including orthopaedic appliances, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy—for both in-patients and out-patients.

Green Pastures has beds for patients with leprosy and other disabilities, as well as those requiring palliative care—many of whom are too poor to afford treatment.
